Jerusalem – President Donald J. Trump was happy to announce that last week he had brokered the Abraham Accords , a deal that normalized and allowed a peaceful exchange between the United Arab Emirates and the Jewish state of Israel. This marks the first time that a Gulf Arabian country has openly cited to want to work with Israel aside from the veiled secret cooperation of the peaceful country of Oman.
Bahrain and Oman had both shown favor to the new deal as they pushed for arrangements themselves when Oman allowed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit Muscat when the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said was still alive after his rule of the peaceful sultanate for 50 years.
Kuwait, Saudi and the remaining Gulf Arab countries remained silent but did not voice any opposition.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had long recorded the many times Israel had given support and assisted the Gulf Arab countries in an endeavor to open pathways for the Jewish state to be welcomed to the Middle East as an ally against the growing influential power of the Shhite-Islamic nation of Iran.
Iran called the normalization a stab in the back to the Palestian people who confided in their Arab League brothers to protect the legitimate claims of their Palestian state but UAE cited that their peace with Israel brought the stoppage of the West Bank annexation as confirmed by President Donald Trump.
The city hall in Tel Aviv rejoiced with the promise of peace with UAE by having the city hall building flash out the Israel flag flickering to the United Arab Emirate’s colors while flying flags of both the countries all over the city.
Many european leaders applauded the move with only a few siding with the Palestian cause as they likened it with “apartheid” during South Africa’s Pretoria phase with all of Africa against it in sanctions.
The UAE serves a new path of hope for Israelis to finally visit the city they’ve only seen or heard of with the promise of bringing Israeli technology, services and first world amenities to share with the Emirates as the UAE is excited in finally having direct contact and relations with Israel away from their former indirect routes.
No blood or war has been fought among the two nations which Emirati Minister of State of Foreign Affairs Anwar Garash explained as UAE had kept silent and not spoken to Israel openly for 70 years and nothing came of it and it was time to do things differently.
Saudi was being urged by America and UAE to join the talks as Saudi does have dealings with Israel but out of public view as they find them a valuable and resourceful ally against the Iranians who, despite spoke out for the Palestian cause were opposing their foreign ventures and political missions by supporting their opponents in countries such as Yemen, Syria and other countries.
Saudi Arabia cleared an Air India flight from Delhi to Tel Aviv sometime back marking the first time that the ironclad barrier of Saudi airspace being restricted to Israel finally etched away to accept that both countries can and had cooperated in the past and may do so in the future.
Qatar and Kuwait however, are still indifferent to the move as they are probably trying to take cues from the biggest opposing agent to Israeli acceptance, Saudi, as a sign for things to change and open their own borders to Israeli business.
