According to court documents, Brandenburg believed the earth was flat and he was a prophet. An Aurora lawyer told the judge that Brandenburg was going through a divorce and was struggling with pandemic-related stress when he took the vaccine doses out of the hospital fridge.

Prosecutors said he believed the 9 / 11 terrorist attacks were fake and that vaccines came from the devil. He also agreed to pay $84,000 in restitution, the Advocate-Aurora Health Journal reported.

According to NBC affiliate WTMJ in Milwaukee, Aurora Health, the pharmacist who damaged 570 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, was sentenced to three years in prison. He told investigators he believed the Covid-19 vaccines had harmed patients by altering their DNA.
